Regardless of the weather, we almost always go in the little pool right after we go into the big pool. Sometimes it's to warm up, because the big pool is usually also referred to as the cold pool. But most times we do it just because we like to party. And nothing says party like hot tub. You're supposed to sign up for this thing, but we only do if we know in advance that we will want it. And then we sign up all of our cabins during the day (#1, 2, 5 and 6) to make sure no one else can use it. Cause that's how we roll. If you're not starting the Revolution then you're stopping the Revolution. Join us with sombreros and fists in the air and your life will be just as sweet as ours are.

We did get a lot of stares from the normies (normal people), but I think that would have happened even if we weren't wearing these sombreros. We bought some snacks and some more booze. We really didn't need either of them, but the chips were for dip and the wine was for dinner. We don't always get things just for ourselves.

One of the reasons we went to town was to get booze. The other reason was to get fireworks. After our run-in with the Vilas County Sheriff, we decided to lay off the big fireworks. I asked the clerk where the snakes and sparklers were. She pointed over to the kids section. Since when were sparklers and snakes just for kids?

Since it was still early, I ended up putting some whiskey in my coffee to make it a true early morning pick me up. Now I would just have to wait for some of the kids to wake up so that I would have someone to rage with. Not that I mind raging alone. But just as I was about to journey down that path, the kids started to awake from their slumber. And it wasn't long before the swimsuits and sombreros were on, only this time we decided to add towels around our necks. Now that's a fashion statement that can only be made up here at Afterglow.

Jenny drove Mom's car because I was a little inebriated. See Mom! Although I started drinking well before noon today and was drunk by like 2:00 pm, I still made the right decision to allow Jenny to drive. Drunk people, although slow and dangerous behind the wheel, can still serve a purpose. It wasn't the first great idea I had while I was drunk, and it certainly wouldn't be the last. I promise that.

On Sunday morning, I woke up hella early. It was something god-awful like 7:00 am. Since I was up, I decided to go over to the lodge for morning coffee. I hung out with Gail, Doug Lane and 2 old people I didn't previously know Moe and Mary. I sat there for well over an hour engaging in grown-up conversation as we caught up and talked about what has transpired over the last year. This would be the only time that I would talk like an adult with adults for the remainder of my time up here at Afterglow. I must have had 4 cups of coffee, which guaranteed that there was mo way I was going back to bed. So I went back to my cabin to start drinking, cause that's what I do when I'm awake.

We then went into town to buy some stuff. Jenny and I were making pizza tonight, so we needed to buy some last minute supplies. We of course wore our sombreros cause we were becoming quite attached to them. Or they were becoming attached to us. Either way, I knew that both of us cried like Venom when we tried to separate from each other. Since no one wants to see a moody Eric Foreman weep, we decided that it was best to just leave the sombreros on. Plus they feel awesome, and they're really not that noticeable on your head.
