New Mexico at its Finest... Or is it?

While we were driving along Historic Route 66 we saw what we thought was one of those old run down villages, like ghost towns. Well, there were still people living there, but that didn't stop us from poking around. It was fun. wading through old junk and taking pictures. What a good day that was...

Ring the bell fool, church be in service. I would've actually rung the bell, but I was in fear of waking the dead. That is how all those scary monster movies start, some idiot always screws up and ends up nearly killing the entire human race. I certainly didn't feel like being that idiot. Too late! (not pictured: the living dead taking over the town, almost killing my family as we narrowly escape - hey, my batteries died. What more do you want of me? I almost peed in my pants...

This house we figured had to be a hairstyle parlor or something like that. How we made that decision you may ask? Well, considering we had Captain Obvious along for the ride, it sort of just came to us.

Well, it took months of working 70 hour weeks, but I finally saved up enough money for my DREAM HOME. (click that link to see it) Here's me on the inside, getting ready to fix up a big meal. My cabinets are stocked and ready to go, as I fire up my new stove. Just got it at Sears. That really is such a nice store. Bunch of real friendly people work there too. What a positive work environment...
