Stuck in Denver Hotel

Let me first clear up something. I was in Denver, but not really in Denver. The Airport is right in the middle of nowhere, about 20 minutes from everything else. I stayed overnight at the Radisson Inn in Aurora, a suburb of Denver. Hopefully that cleared things up a little.
This is the first thing that I did when I checked into the hotel room. It took over 10 tries to get these pictures right. I never told anyone, not even the hotel,  that I broke a leg on the bed from jumping on it. Oops, now I did.

They booked me a hotel. Being as that the airport was 20 minutes from the hotel, a shuttle bus was supposed to come and pick me up. The assured me it would be there every half hour. I was outside for almost 2 hours. My luggage was missing, as was my coat, for I assumed I would be in California. 2 hours, freezing temperatures, and one pissed of guy. Gotta love United + air travel. Fortunately, it was all good after that.

I was staying in Aurora, not just a place but also a state of mind...The first thing I did in the morning was try to find a sign that said Aurora, so I took a 2 hour walk. I found that Dam road and a cool bridge.

I thought this would be cool, to take a picture of your own shadow. It turned out good; peace be with you.

Go here to see a really cool pic. I would have put it on this page, but I wanted you to be able to witness it in it's full glory. It is one of the best I have ever taken.

I tried and tried and tried to find an Aurora sign, and this was the only one I found. I know the picture is small, but it says Aurora Reservoir. And I'm doing the Wayne "cha right" thing while pushing back my hair.
