I had this picture taken to demonstrate how funny my hair looked in the morning because it was so long. Little did I know that when I'd be writing this (April 2, 2004) that my hair would be twice as long as in this picture. It's crazy how weird it looks in the morning now.

This appears to be some sort of factory or refinery, located along Pacific Coast Highway, at Huntington Beach. I took the picture because it reminds me of one of the levels on the video game Goldeneye, staring none other than England's Agent 007, Bond, James Bond.

Tim crouched down to take a picture of the water, so I crouched down and took a picture of him. It's funny how that works out that way. Capturing nature's beauty has never been easier.

I went into the water, all the way up to my thighs, and took this picture of the waves about to wash up over me. I was quite close to the water, as can be seen. Fear the water, fear it above all other things.

Because I had been spending so much time in the water, I got wet. Water does that to you sometimes. It's a good thing that the people on the beach understood why my shorts were wet, because people back home probably think that I peed my pants. But that was not the case, believe it or not, because the Ocean is wet, and wetness saturates clothing with liquid and makes it weird.

I was spending so much time in the water that I didn't notice how far my family had drifted away from me. Jenny and Kris (my Mom) were strolling down the beach collecting shells and rocks and other Ocean artifacts, and they had managed to escape my view. In the picture on the left, you can't even see where they are, but in the picture on the right, under the highest zoom on my camera, they still seem so very far away. And they were, but I soon caught up to them, cause there's no way my family is leaving me behind.
