California Spring Break (Day 8)

Up until this picture was taken, the highlight of my day occurred at 3:00, when I watched back to back episodes of the Golden Girls on Lifetime. We decided to go to Newport Beach just to go to Hooters. We figured that we had already been to 2, so why not make it an even 3? (So what if it doesn't make sense. I can't think clearly after all of this nonsense.) We rang up quite a tab ( $120 American dollars!!! ), and had a great time. I'm just a little bit sunburned in this picture (my friends thought that I was drunk), but it is made all the better by the fact that I am wearing my 'Scott is Cool' T-shirt. Jamie really loved that one.

This Hooters was right on the water, and from out table we could see multiple boats, yachts, and schooners. It would've been nice to go during the day when we could walk down the beach and check out the shops, cause any town that puts a Hooters restaurant right next to a Woody's Wharf is #1 in my book.

Even though one could hardy see the ocean, it was there, believe you me. Whilst I was standing upon its sandy shores, the incoming tide grew closer still, even rising into the air creating a mist that reflected in the flash.

I sat in the wet sand to prove that yes, I am at a beach, and yes, all of the known beach elements are present. I would have gone swimming if I wasn't deathly afraid of being mistaken for a whale and harpooned.

Me and Dad went to meet my Uncle Gary at this bar. The bar was kinda cool, and had a band playing, but it was surprisingly empty on a Friday night. It was also a micro-brewery, and they made a beer called Reaper Ale, which recently won the Pookon.com Best Beer Award.
