CineVegas 2008 - Just Got Here

We proved to be a rather formidable team, and if I wasn't already committed to having Joey Kanz as my lifelong beer pong partner, I'd ask Welch to join up with me for some serious competitions. But I have asked for Kanz to be my life partner, so Welch and I will have to stick to exhibition play. Oh well man, and so it goes....

I have an obsession with boobs. Call it fascination or just being a man, but I am indeed a fan of the ladies. I currently have a subscription to Playboy Magazine and am a frequent viewer of the television show "The Girls Next Door" (which follows the day to day activities of Hugh Hefner and his live in girlfriends.) So it was exciting for me that the CineVegas film festival was at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, which is home to the only remaining Playboy Club.

O'Shea's is a really nice little place that kind of gets lost amongst the Bellagios and MGM Grands on the Strip. You know what? Screw those big name casinos and their multi-billion dollar corporations - I'm in it for the little man who is struggling to get by. If you need to find my on the Strip, I'll be at O'Shea's taking on people in beer pong.

None of these little bitches knew who I was, and for the most part I'm ok with it. The fame and celebrity is pretty cool, but I'm just a regular Midwestern guy. I'm no superstar or hero to the free world. I'm just a guy. But I also find it necessary to play beer pong at an elevated level just in case this documentary does make the rounds and these people see it 6 months or 1 year down the road and say, "hey, I think I played against that Iceman guy back in |June of 2008." I want them to think that I was worthy of being in a beer pong documentary. Thankfully Eric and I won, so we didn't have to face the agony of defeat at the hands of someone who has never even heard of the World Series of Beer Pong. As veterans of said event, we had to prove that we were elite members of the greatest tournament on the planet.
