Afterglow 2007 - Day 3 Monday |
James did the pitching and Tim and Tommy roamed the expansive outfield while my Mom smacked the baseballs all around the diamond. I would have been out there with them, but it was necessary for someone to capture this moment for the world to see. It just seems like I'm always that guy who captures moments. Maybe I could make a living doing this. That makes a whole lot more sense than my dream of becoming a professional beer pong player. But hey, if the Angels can win the pennant, it can happen. I believe in Angels. |
Mom had come up to the field to watch the kids play and to take some pictures. She was satisfied with just doing that, but somehow we were able to convince her to pick up a bat and take some bating practice. It was as much convincing as suggesting, as she was more than willing to jump at the opportunity. She claims that she hadn't swung a bat in something like 20 years, but the videos on the next couple of pages show that she's been secretly visiting the batting cages behind our backs over the last few years. Hmmmmm.... |
