Christmas California Adventure (1)

We have spent Christmas out in California the last 3 years or so, so why would this past one be any different? We left on Christmas day, and spent most of that at various airports and such. I can't think of a better way to spend the time then to take crazy pictures of myself and my family. So sit back and get ready, as I present 20 huge pages of the Reck's New California Adventure!

Security has been steppe up nice September 2001, so we arrived at the airport nice and early. We each chose a suitable way to pass the time. I took pictures, Jenny played Snake II, James read Sports Illustrated, Kris read the paper, and Tim just gave me goofy looks.

I decided that it was only right that I be pictured within the first set of photographs, so I took a picture of myself. I had no idea that Tim was behind me making silly faces.

Jenny gets ready to show her I.D. to the airline personal as we board our flight to Chicago.

Me and Jenny, on that thing that connects the terminal to the airplane. You know, that thing that Jim Carrey fell off of in Dumb and Dumber.

Here's one side of the aisle on the flight to California. My camera broke on the flight between Milwaukee and Chicago, but I was able to fix it in time for the next flight.

And then the other side of the aisle. Don't who that guy is that sat next to Jenny, but he kept to himself and just stared out the window the whole flight.

This was the view out that guy's window, and I had to lean over him to take this picture. Since we were heading West, we followed the sunset for quite some time, so that was a definite plus for this trip.
