Christmas California Adventure (4)

Tim was hanging out across the way from me as we walked up and down the aisles of the mall.

We went to the mall to do some shopping. Tim and I went with Mom, Jenny, and our cousin Kelly. We went to meet our Aunt Cari, who works at the Pottery Barn. Tim and I don't care much for shopping, so we just hung out at the mall for like 3 hours. Tim's sense of enthusiasm didn't change as he checked out Pottery Barn's newest assortment of glass ware.

Jenny and I stood in front of a palm tree after shopping. I wish it were a psalm tree instead, one that spouts bible phrases and how to take the word of God with you.

I relax in the pool after an exhausting and boring day at the mall. I only go to the mall for 20 minutes at the most. I get what I need then get out. I can't handle being there for over an hour. So the pool felt great.

While I relaxed, Tim played guitar. He had been writing new songs the entire trip, coming up with new words and lyrics faster than he could write them down.

Tim almost never was without guitar, except when he was swimming. I guess he could take it with him when swimming, it would make a good flotation device. But instead he just sat at dusk and played.
