Today was our last day here in "sunny" Florida. The weather had been less than stellar during our week down here, but we picked the best 2 weather days to hang out near the pool. I had been putting some hair lightener in my hair, and it was finally starting to work. |
Orlando Spring Break - Day 7 |
Normally I wouldn't post a picture of this hideous looking bug, this isn't the National Geographic website, but I just had to. When I was hanging out in the pool, this thing wouldn't stop messing with me so I set him on his back. He struggled because he was wet, so I made fun of him. As soon as he righted himself, he chased me, and I ran like hell. |
Jenny chose to spend the last day hanging out in the sun once again. She was hoping to have a nice little souvenir to bring back to the cold Milwaukee Winter - a sweet tan. With her hard work and dedication, it would seem that her ultimate tan would be possible. |
Once Jenny awoke from her nap, I begged and pleaded with her day after day, but she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way. Wait a second, that happened to the Fresh Prince, not me. What did happen is that I asked Jenny to do a cannonball so that I could take a succession of pictures so that I could compare my cannonball to someone else's. Despite her inexperience, I still think that she did a really good job |
We wanted to take a picture of the three of us so that we could either put it on Dad's computer desktop or print one out and frame it for him. We tried several times to get a good picture, but these two were the best ones that we took. In the one on the left, Percy surprised the hell out of me, so my expression is truly genuine. In the right picture, Percy looks way too sad, which is something most people don't experience when in the company of Jenny and I. We settled on the first one, which is the all around funniest picture of the three of us outside. |
We decided to go back to the apartment and get dressed because soon Dad would be home and we would be going out. We decided to hang outside and wait, so we brought Percy out on his leash to wait with us. He's a cool little dog, but he can be quite animated at times. |
