Last night was pretty fun, but it was a little rough for the younger member of our group. Jenny was all partied out by the time the night was over, and she even picked up the check. If that's not the definition of the perfect sister, then I don't know what is. We stayed pretty late at the Orlando Brewery, but I doubt that we stayed much later than 12:00 midnight because our flight was leaving Orlando at 9:00 am. Waking up in the morning was really rough, and it really didn't help that we had to pack up all of our things then go to to the airport and wait in line and go through multiple security checks. I know that I was a little slow getting ready, and from the looks of it, Jenny was a wee bit hungover. We made it to the airport on time though, and we said our goodbyes and thank yous to our Dad for once again giving us a sweet spring break.

We rode the train from the check in terminal to the boarding the planes terminal and hated every second of it. Both of our heads were regretting the previous night's activities, but we had no choice but to push on to make it home. I really didn't care about getting home in a timely fashion, but Jenny was trying to make it to Madison to see one of her hippie bands like Umphrey's McGee or Moe. The worst thing possible thing then happened for her and our flights got wickedly delayed once we arrived in Chicago. If you've ever been to O'Hare airport, then you know how crazy busy it is and how difficult it can be to reschedule travel arrangements. We waited in the longest line ever (and yes, I've been to Six Flags, Disney, and Universal) to speak to a United representative to get Jenny's flight rescheduled so that she could fly into Madison instead of Milwaukee, and in the end, everything worked out.

Orlando Spring Break - Day 8

I took the 20 minute flight from Chicago to Milwaukee all by myself, but I was contempt with traveling alone because I knew that Jenny was able to get to her concert in time. By the time I got to the Milwaukee airport, it was nearly 7:00 pm. It had been a long and trying day, and after a hard night of drinking, airplane delays were the last thing that I had needed. But the good news was that I was now home, and I could relax for the next few days before going back to work. Another fine spring break with my Dad had come to a close, and the only thing that I had left to ponder was where in the world would my Dad be in mid-March of 2008, and would I be able to meet him there? Since I am done with school, I am technically all out of spring breaks, so hopefully my job will let me take a vacation so that I can keep this 5 year tradition alive. Check back next year to see what happens...
