Every Christmas, all of the cousins take a picture on our Nana's davenport, which is not a city in Iowa, but a sofa in her green carpeted living room. This year we would be celebrating Christmas at My Uncle Greg's house, so we needed to get the cousin davenport picture done well before Christmas just in case Greg's davenport wasn't big enough to hold us all. So on Thanksgiving, we gathered on and around the davenport for our annual cousin picture. In case you don't know everyone, let me take a second to introduce them to you. Seated (from left to right) my brother James, cousin Brian brother Timmy, cousin Tommy, myself, cousin Stefani, and my newest cousin Joey (Stefani's brother, who is from Guatemala.) In the back are my sister Jenny, cousin Stacy, and my cousin Susie. When we were all a little bit smaller, we used to all fit on the davenport, and until recently, we still tried to all fit on there, but for the sake of Uncle Rick and Aunt Maria's new davenport, we decided to spare it for now. Next Thanksgiving, all bets are off. We're coming for you davenport. This is a great picture, but it's been made even more hilarious by the fact that we posted it on Facebook and tagged each other in it. We are all friends on Facebook, so every time that someone made a comment on the picture, we would each get an email saying "______" made a comment of a photo of you. We must have thrown down at least 25 comments on that picture, and we had some rowdy conversations going back and forth on there. I wouldn't expect anything less from my family, who really are the sweetest people in the entire world. Here's to many more years of parking our rumps on other people's davenports!! Who's coming with me?
