Afterglow RFT IV: Fletch is Working Overtime - Day 2

I mentioned before that the mosquitoes were the worst ever. If you weren't over the water, you couldn't be outside. Since there was nothing else to do over the water, we drove up to Watersmeet, Upper Michigan and to the Lac Vieux Desert Casino.  My Dad and Kathy love going to the casino, so I always bring some extra money every time I hang out with them. It was alright. I ended up losing like $80 and my last ditch effort to recoup some of it by placing $25 on black didn't work out this time. They weren't ready to leave and stuck around for dinner. I wanted to get back before nightfall, so I took off. We had plenty of food in the cabin and when I returned to Afterglow, I was welcomed with one of the most peaceful and picturesque backdrops I have ever seen. If it wasn't for the ridiculous amount of mosquitoes, I would  have sat out here forever. But even though I wanted to, I just couldn't. They were that bad.

Someone else that wanted to ruin my night was Scrappy (Trixie), the youngest of my Dad's dogs. While I was out trying to grill without getting malaria, she was barking at me through the window. Alright pal, I get it. I'm outside. You're not. Deal with it.

This is my hand about the swat the shit out of some mosquito bitch who kept trying to ruin my good time. I'm not pro murder, but if I could have killed every one of those blood sucking bastards, I would have. They were set on ruining my good time.

Before I left home I stopped at Robert's Specialty Meats in Waukesha, which is a favorite butcher shop of Sportsradio 1250 WSSP AM in Milwaukee. Do I get some kind of kick back from either place for the mention? No? Moving on. But I did go to Robert's for Ribs on a Stick, which are the greatest things ever. But they didn't have any prepared yet so I had to settle for Marinated Chicken Skewers. Although these things were pretty damn good, I was really looking forward to ribs. So it was kind of a letdown. Like this weekend.

Sweet Lou was sleeping on the bed and P Baby was all emo on the couch. I guess I don't blame them too much. There wasn't much for them to do up here because they couldn't go outside. As a dog, what do you do when you are indoors? Sleep. When people are around you can beg for food but all of your adventures are outdoors. Last night I had a fire and raged on KK, but tonight I just passed out. I didn't even stay up long enough for Dad and Kathy to get home. I guess some people just can't handle Raging for Timmy at Afterglow.
