Trip 2005 - San Francisco

I asked a passerby to take our picture, and the moron managed to cut the off the top of the Bubba Gump Logo, but still kept us in the picture. I guess I can't be that mad because Jenny and I are still featured prominently.

We met up with Tim and Sarah after lunch, and walked around to check things out. This shopping area was set up like a mall, but it was outdoors so that it could fully take advantage of the natural surroundings.

Jenny has had a fascination with dolphins ever since she was a young girl, but I bet this was the first time that she has seen green land dolphins. That is exactly why I needed to take her picture while she was swimming with those green land dolphins. If I told you this story about Jenny swimming with green land dolphins without providing a picture, you'd probably think thank I was straight trippin' right now.

It turns out that there were more aquatic animals represented in green land forms. This crab showed up to wreck the party with his crabby mood. (Insert pitiful laughter here.) Ah c'mon, you know that I couldn't talk about a green land crab without making a lame joke. Did you expect me to show some class and refrain from resorting to the lowest form of comedy? Obviously you don't know mw then.

I'm probably going to take a little heat for this one, much like I'm probably already being frowned upon by a certain community for choosing this particular background, but this bench was a little ridiculous, even for San Francisco. How in the heck are you supposed to sit on this without feeling a little bit weird?

Oakland is right across the bay from San Francisco, and although I've never been there (I just drove through the outskirts) I've heard that it is a rough town. I guess that means that these two towns are complete opposites because from what I've seen, the city of San Francisco looks like it got beat up by the city of Oakland.
