TJ + Megan's Wedding in Las Vegas - Day 4

But first we had to get some formalities out of the way. Wedding pictures can be fun but to me they are a little boring because they are always the same. Hey, gather around the groom and hug him. Ok, on the count of 3 everyone jump in the air! That's never been done before, right? I'm sure there were more random moment pictures that weren't so scripted, but these are the only ones that I have. These ones will have to do. Maybe some day I will be allowed to see the entire album. One can dream, right?

Everyone looked so nice and we had to take a picture so that the rest of the World knew it. I'm pretty sure that I've seen TJ, Brodey and Aaron in suits before (due to countless friends of ours getting married over the last few years) but it never ceases to amaze me. These are my best friends. We've had so many fun times that I can remember and so many that I can't. But I'll never forget this one. This one is special.

I was borrowing my sister Jenny's camera and it has this option to take a panoramic picture. What better place to try it out than a rooftop patio in Las Vegas? While this may not be all that impressive to you, it is to me. I can't believe that I'm able to do cool shit like this. When I first started this website I had the most basic of digital cameras. There was a limit to what I was able to do. And now look at it! The possibilities are pretty much endless and it is only getting better as technology improves. I'm living during a revolution that I didn't even see coming. It really doesn't get too much more exciting than that folks. That's what my life has sadly become...

I lied. I have another picture. I was able to find this one on Facebook that someone took. But even then I had to steal it. It's hard for me to talk about things if I don't have a record of them people! I was kind of busy you know, standing up in a wedding and was unable to document it myself. Help me out here pal!

After a relaxing morning it was time to get down to business and address the real reason we came out here. It wasn't for the hookers, free drinks and the chance to piss away our life savings - it was to usher our friend TJ into the next phase of his life. Now that I was sober I could enjoy this upstairs patio and the company of good friends. Who would've thought?

You have already been exposed to several pictures of me in varying states of undress. I apologize for that. I will spare you one more. I joined Aaron, Melissa, Brodey and TJ in the Platinum pool, which happens to be on the 5th floor of the hotel and spares the people on the streets from seeing my hideous half-naked body. My friends weren't so lucky. We lounged around the pool and in the hot tub and my favorite part was the little moat that connects the indoor and outdoor pools. I want one of these in my house. Of course I also want a pool too. Then I wouldn't have to venture far away from my home for a swim and face the onlookers disgust when I take off my shirt.

I always forget about true beauty of the area around Las Vegas because I'm usually blinded by the bright lights and broken dreams. Someday I want to come out here and explore Vegas life outside of the casinos. One can dream I guess. Someday...

There is really only one thing that I have to do when I make it out to the West Coast - I need to go to In-N-Out Burger. If you are a faithful visitor to my website then you know these images far too well. This might be my favorite restaurant in the World only because I can only get it once a year. Today Brodey and I met up with our friend Billy Gaines, co-founder of the World Series of Beer Pong. He lives out here in Vegas so I decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and catch up over a 2x2 and some Animal Fries. I miss Billy and all the friends that I've made playing in the WSoBP, but I am happily retired. But even the greatest Wisconsin sports legends come out of retirement... There may be a day in the near future when the Iceman and the Godfather return to beer pong. It could happen.

Brodey and I laid around the hotel room this morning and watched The Wayans' Brothers Little Man, so it was nice to get out and do something. And if you are going to do something, then do it right. Like a fully loaded lunch that could damn near kill me.

This is the only picture of me that I have from the actual wedding ceremony. I asked Melissa to take some more but she must have ignored me. Most girls do. But it's payback I suppose. I don't pay attention to them either. I don't even know this girl's name! And I escorted her down the aisle. It's no wonder I'm still single..
