You never really know someone until they build a four foot ramp out of snow, and then have the audacity to actually ride a inflated plastic sled over it knowing that when they reach the end, they will plummet into the hard frozen ground of a winter's eve. It was on that day that I truly met Tim and Danny.

Tim stands behind the ramp as to offer a true height comparison. These guys are crazy. I don't mind telling you that. I did not need to hurl myself upon this ramp as they did, I just need to sit back and take the pictures. Danny smoothes out the run approaching the jump, making it all good for the upcoming ride.

Tim only makes it halfway up the ramp, blaming the snow for his errors. I blame Tim. He could've pushed himself further, given that little extra hurrah in order to fly over the frozen obstacle. Danny's solution was to lay a piece of cardboard on top of the ramp in order to smooth it out for a faster passage. I don't know guys, I just take the pictures.

Tim smoothes out the approach, hoping for just the right amount of snow that would be necessary for passage over the ramp. Here thought it might work.

Well, it kinda did, at least for Tim. Danny wasn't able to clear the jump and stay on the tube at the same time. He hit the ground hard every time, and I felt his pain.

If you thought that was it, you are very wrong. Here are the Wintersplash 4.0 videos. There are a lot of them, but that's what makes this website fun. These videos allow you to fully see what Wintersplash is all about, so check them out.
