This is the final year for the Minnesota Twins in the Metrodome (thank God) and next year they are moving into brand new Target Field. I support the move 100% because the Metrodome is the biggest piece of shit stadium (Wrigley Field included) that I have ever been to. But there is one thing that I don't understand and probably never will - why the hell are they not building a roof on this stadium? Don't they know how cold it is in Minnesota in April and October? I hope they plan to keep a tally of how many games are snowed out, cause there are going to be a lot of the. And I also hope the players like to play doubleheaders, because they will have to get used to bonus baseball. Aside from that architectural blunder, the stadium looks pretty nice, and I look forward to seeing it in May or June when the Brewers play up here.

These 3 games against Milwaukee are considered premium games, so they charge more for the tickets. They figure since people cross the border from Wisconsin to attend, why not make more money off of the Sconnies? Hell, we do the same to them, so I didn't have a problem with it. Mike, John (Katie's Dad) and I went to pick up tickets for the game tonight, and I saw this wacky waving inflatable tube man, which instantly made me laugh and think when they used it in that random Family Guy clip.

Tailgaiting is prohibited in the parking lots near the Metrodome (there are even signs posted so that you can't say you didn't know) but that wasn't going to stop Mike and I from having a couple of beers. See, back home in Milwaukee tailgaiting is a necessity, and I'm not going to change my style just because someone said that I had to. I think they fail to realize that I make the rules, not them. And I won't change that no matter what happens.

We had some time to kill before the 6:10 game time, so we were hanging out at Katie's Aunt's apartment. We (Mike, Katie, Joey Kanz and myself) stayed there last year when she was out of town, and I got to meet Wilson the beast of a cat. Good to see that he is still large and in charge and roaming the planet in search of food.

When I was hanging out in Chippewa Falls, I went to Wal-Mart because I forgot to bring shorts with me. It was a good thing too because it was in the 80's up here and I would've been sweating buckets. While I was there, I bought am 8-pack of Miller Lite aluminum cans, knowing damn well that I'd find time to drink them.
