The beauty of playing Frisbee in the sand or in the water is that you can make diving catches and not have to worry about incurring bodily harm. That's because the sand and the water cushions the fall in the way that the hard ground cannot. If I had my way, I would always play Frisbee on a surface that absorbed bodily impact. Hell, I'd play in a trampoline land or a ball pit field if they existed.

When Kevin and I came up here in May for RFT V: Return to the Hive, we were introduced to the new dog Winter. We were warned that she comes like a thief in the night and steals your belongings (like when she stole Kevin's shoes). We forgot to pass this memo along to Jenny, because when she failed to pick up the Frisbee after a failed catch, Winter grabbed it and ran off into into the great beyond. Thankfully she didn't go far and play was able to resume. Winter and Yeti then assisted June with building the best doggone sandcastle.

Jenny and I love Frisbee. Well, that's kind of an understatement because they haven't come up with a word yet that would describe how much we truly enjoy all things Frisbee related (be it recreational toss or disc golf). So when there was nothing else going on today, we busted out the Frisbee on the beach and threw it back and forth. I'd like to think that we put on a good show for the beach dwellers.
