If you don't know by now, I suppose that I have to inform you that Kevin and I are the talent/entertainment at Afterglow. And now I have to apologize for our song selection. Although that is mostly my fault because I insist that we play things like Taylor Swift's "Blank Space" instead of learning some real music. But I'll be damned if we didn't rock the shit out of some Swift. More than anyone else at Afterglow ever did before. That much I promise you. Just give the ol' video a click and listen to the guitar and vocal stylings of Whiskey & Whatever and let it enter your earholes and live there. Forever.  And just like the rest of America, you'll be stuck with Ms. Swift's songs (or Tay-Tay as her close personal friends like me call her) for the rest of your lives. But at least you have now have our version stuck in your head. The way that it should be. You're welcome.

There comes a time in the night when the shirts are off, the chessboards are out and the Revolution is in full effect. At least that is what happens when we are banished from Cabin #6 and are forced to spend the remainder of our night in Cabin #5.

If you ever had a doubt that Afterglow isn't an ethereal beauty, then this video and these pictures should do it. So I'll just sit back and let you soak it all in.

Was that enough time for you to figure out that you want to be there? All day? Every day? For the rest of your Earth-bound life? Because if it is not, then you have a twisted perspective on what true beauty is. But I'm willing to accept that you have a differing opinion. But I have found my paradise. It is here. Any time of the year and any hour of the day. If this doesn't resonate with you then I certainly hope that you have found a place where you can experience heaven on Earth.

The party eventually needs to move on to another location, so we are fortunate that a kind soul was willing to take us in for the night. Tonight those kind souls were Rick and Maria of Cabin #6. We played some Cousin Poker and participated in some late night shenanigans. This sort of thing seems to happen more often than not up here (and especially in this cabin). And so it goes...

It's a long walk back home to Cabin #2 from Cabin #5/6. Or at least it feels like it after a long fay of Glowing. Everything happened so fast. Hard to believe that 2 days were already gone. We only had 5 more to go until we have to go home. So we must use them wisely.
