Pookon's Lost Archives

Me + Timmy and the Moving Truck

First off, I need to warn you that this may be sensitive material for some people. This section involves a moving truck that contained items from the California home, which we moved back into the Wisconsin home. It became "lost" in the archives because at that time, the wounds were too fresh to think about this. When it was time to post these pictures, it was right about the time my parents separated. It was a difficult time for all of us, so I didn't think it was right to glorify this situation. Tim and I had a great time that day, with the moving truck and out buddy Jim Taggart, so when the idea of the Lost Archives came about, this was one of the first sections I knew had to be included in here. So enjoy viewing Tim and I as we continue our hilarious antics.

These two guys (who's names I have long since forgotten) drove the truck from California, and arrived at our front door at 7:00 am on a chilly Friday in January. Jim Taggart came down from Oconto Falls to help us, being no stranger to the moving industry.

Lassie was confused by this orange object infringing on her territory. We put he inside the truck, which only added to her confusion. She stood inside the trunk and whined, so we took her out.

We made Lassie sit underneath the truck, because we thought that it would be funny. She obliged, but only for a second. As soon as we let her, she ran out from under the truck and into the safety of our arms.

The moving crew, hard at work. Jim Taggart is a bit of an expert mover, and we were fortunate enough to have his expertise at our expense.

Once again, Tim and I did the Bill and Ted pose. It has become somewhat of a tradition by now, and this instance was no exception.

The picture on the left you may have already seen here. It was featured as my 4th pic o the day. You probably never knew where it came from until now. Tim and I decided to take pictures with the truck separately just because we thought that this big truck was cool. Mine made it back in January of 2002, Tim's didn't. Even though some of the pictures I may take may never grace the pages of this site, rest assured that they may someday be available for the entire world to view and enjoy.
