Minnesota, Mike Bates, Jenny, + Me

Here's Jenny with the "ribs". I don't really understand this "new age" kind of art. Mike told me that one time a student in one of his tour groups asked about them, and what they were. Mike gave his usual shoulder shrug and his trademark "I don't know". Good ol' Mike.

Me supporting the cause of NO WAR in Iraq. And I see that my picketing and hunger strike really paid off, seeing that there hasn't been a war yet.

We were supposed to be paying attention to our tour guide, but we decided to instead take a silly picture. That tour was bunk anyway. It was nice and informative, but didn't tell of the finer things Twin Cities had to offer, plus humor was totally absent from the entire presentation.

Friday morning came bright and early, and Jenny and I set out for a grand tour of the campus. Unfortunately, we didn't get Mike as a guide, but it was still a good time.

My favorite pictures - the set the camera far away and run like heck in order to get into frame. It only took me 2 tries to get it right.

I call this the "I'm just thinking really hard" picture. This would've been a good picture, with that Greek-like building behind me and everything. Didn't that guy Socrates think really hard too? So I guess it's ok to think really hard, as long as there are Greek-style buildings around you.
