South Carolina 2012 with Matt - Day 2

Officer Werner had broken her hand while kickboxing or something and Matt and Random #2 decided to do this snake-like hand gesture in homage to her. It was a nice way to show solidarity to someone who serves the greater good of mankind.

It's about a 2 hour drive from Charleston to Columbia so we planned on getting home about the same time as James and Melissa did from work. We decided to come bearing welcome gifts so we stopped at the local liquor store. I picked up a 12 pack of Yuengling because it is not available back home. As one of the oldest beers in America (1829) I consider it a treat and make sure to get some every time I'm on the East Coast.

We hung out at James and Melissa's house for a bit catching up on things that we may have missed since we last saw each other. When the night was drawing nigh, we did what I have done so many times that I have been here - we went to Schooner's. I'm all about drinking on the cheap and enjoying the company of others but I just don't get it. Surely there must be a better place to get your drink on. There isn't, and don't call me Shirley. I sat in the corner and we played this game machine which was a great way to pass the night. It was certainly better than mingling with the locals. I've learned from the Civil War that the North and South don't get along.

This is the entire gang of people that I was hanging out with. You already know Me, James, Matt and Melissa but the other two randoms are new. In fact I still don't remember who they are so I'll just call them Melissa's randoms. Everyone has a few.
