We slept in a little bit (or at least tried to, considering our sleeping situations) because we got in so late last night. We dropped Dad off at work then used his car to go to The Florida Mall so that Jenny could buy stuff. I'm not into malls, so I just sat there and looked pretty.

I thought that the day was ending and that we would have nothing to show for it. Oh Boy, was I wrong. Ziggy says that there is a 89.4% chance that tonight would be our most memorable night of the entire trip. And Ziggy or Al are rarely wrong about these things.

Melt in your mouth not in you hands down best store in the mall was the M&M's World. (It's like a Jeopardy Before & After puzzle!) First off, they had this giant rotating M&M out front that made me look like one of Rick Moranis' kids. Secondly, they had all sorts of M&M apparel, souvenirs, towels, shoes, action figures, banks, backpacks, etc. Basically, everything that you've ever wanted to the M&M logo emblazoned on.  Lastly, they had giant tubes with every flavor and color of M&M running through the ceiling into a giant dispensing unit (you can see the glass tubes behind me) where you could mix and match your favorite colors and variations. It cost a pretty penny per pound of M&M's, but in a store you can only get the standard thin-shelled chocolate candies. I would have bought a mixture of chocolates, but I just don't have that kind of cash. Instead, I went down to the CVS pharmacy and picked up a small bag for 79 cents.

Orlando Spring Break - Day 2

We ended up spending several hours at the mall (at least 3) and it was time to go and pick Dad up from work. When we got home, we took his dog Percy out for a walk then went to the Walgreens Liquor Store (you heard me right) to get some booze for tonight.

I guess I should clue you in on a few things before I go any further, lest I leave you dumbfounded and searching for answers. Jenny and I had been watching a lot of Quantum Leap, for it was the only DVD that wasn't packed away and my Dad didn't have cable, so I'll be making a ton of references to that. Jenny and I are also in love with everything Disney, which is why we were spending the night strolling the boardwalk of Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World. Lastly, we were on Spring Break, and I can only speak for for myself, but I was wasted out of mind the entire night. I have a feeling that she was intoxicated as well. It's just a guess, but we can easily recognize our own. When we first got there, we checked out this Irish Band (tomorrow was St. Patrick's Day) rocking some bagpipes that had a rather large, loud, and forceful female lead singer. The band kicked ass, and I have a video on the next page to prove that fact. Click next to be impressed by rocking bagpipes.

Home

Jenny slept on our Dad's poor excuse for an air mattress. I've slept on this once before when we stayed at his house in Illinois, and all that I have to say is that it didn't suck this much when I used it. Jenny has back problems, so sleeping like this was a nightmare.
