Trifecta Tres - Lakefront Brewery

If the multiple beers during the tour, the tour guides themselves (who are actual brewery workers and are all hilarious) and the down to earth local feel of this brewery tour doesn't make it the greatest thing ever, then check out Bernie Brewer's Chalet from old Milwaukee County Stadium. Long before he slid from a Clubhouse onto a platform at Miller Park he used to slide from this Chalet into a mug of beer. When they demolished County Stadium Lakefront bought the Chalet and it's been here ever since. This is a piece of Milwaukee history and I love it.

Lakefront Brewery is bar far my favorite brewery tour of all time if not my favorite place in Milwaukee. Miller Park probably owns that top spot but this one comes a very close second. What does that go to show? I guess I love beer and beer makers. Good thing I live in Milwaukee. But I'm not alone. These kids that you see here also share similar interests with me which is why I continue to bring them along with me time after time at multiple venues. I know that they love it here at Lakefront as all of us (except Kevin) have been here too many times to count.

JJ is awesome. I hate to single her out among Jenny's Randoms but she is no longer a random because I have learned her name. I always have a good time hanging out with her and I'm glad Jenny has found such a sweet person to hang out with. Good for the both of them.

I don't blame Kevin for this being his first time here. Why go on a brewery tour if you can't sample the beer? But Kanz and Paul are seasoned vets and I have spent many an hour here with them be it for fish frys or random brewery tour. Eee-I-eee-I-eee-I-oh!!

Kanz has an empty beer and that makes me sad. The great thing about Lakefront is that you get a beer before the tour and also get several more along the way. And that makes me very happy.

And of course I love Jenny Reck. She's unbelievably awesome and in this picture peeks out from behind Paul to let us all know that she's still there. But of course we never forgot about her.
