Afterglow 2013 - Day Day 3 Monday

We had a pretty rowdy bunch at our table as it was a combination of Cabins #2, #5 and #6. This collective unit is also known as the Kurutz/Recks. We're here to Start the Revolution for the entire week and to get our grub on today. We know what's important.

The time had finally come for the Kurutz/Recks to have their moment in the spotlight. We were approaching the front of the Pot Luck smorgasbord and we hoped that some of the delectable goodness still remained. There was no reason to doubt it.

Jenny and I took a picture like we always do. Our true personalities shine forth and the World is granted another peak at The HotMess and The Spectacle. Because they were really asking for one. We were sitting there just doing our own thing and Uncle Rick was jealous. He wanted a piece of the action. I can't say I don't blame him. It's pretty sweet to be us. And now Uncle Rick got a taste of the pie.

Monday night at Afterglow is kind of a big deal. It's the night where the entire resort gathers for the most important meal of the week - the Pot Luck Dinner. This is normally held outside by the fire pit but today it was raining. Jenny brought an umbrella and the picture of Timmy to the Lodge and we all crammed into the Rec Room. I would have preferred to be outdoors, but the important thing was that we were all together.

Curtis and I shouldn't be allowed to hang out together in an enclosed space. Things could get wild really fast. And sexy. When me and this majestic beast hang out, you never quite know what is going to happen. And trust me, you don't want to find out.

Cabin #5 was well represented even if Brian was unable to join us. Yeah, we were all bummed out and some of us probably still haven't gotten over it, but we made the best of the situation.

We had a lot of time to kill before we were allowed to eat. We can't all go at once and somehow we were stuck going last. But that just gave us more time to goof around with each other.

Everyone knows that this is Eric Cartman. But what if his name was Carlos? What if he was treated like family and got to go everywhere we did? What if he was given all of the advantages that you never had? Would you hope for nothing but the best?

Here's the entire clan that made it up to Afterglow this year. This has to be a record low. We were missing some people (James, Melissa and Brian) and didn't have any randoms tagging along. But it's ok. That just means we had to rage extra hard for them.

For some reason, Dale was at his Cabin's table, eating all alone. But the truth is he wasn't really alone. He had a few bottles of 2 Buck Chuck to keep him company. Where I'm from that's called Date Night. Don't look so sad Dale. You're among friends.
