Afterglow 2010 - Day 1 Saturday

I know that I'm not alone here when I say that I love the nightly fire circle at Afterglow and all the memories and good tunes that come from it. Now that the kids are getting older and their talents are starting to come to fruition, the Uncle Greg Band has started to churn out some very good songs and conversations. Which is why I have started turning on my recording device so that I could relive this moment every day for the rest of my life. I've only have recordings from the last two years, but I have two years worth of comic gold and salatorious revolution songs.

Uncle Rick is the keeper of the fire. When he is not around, Brian is the keeper of the fire. I find that to be a little odd because if anyone should do it it should be Tommy to take the reigns when his father is around. But Brian has stated in the past that he loves fire and would have no problem sitting around and staring at it for hours on end. You can't have fire unless someone constantly maintains it, so we were all glad that Brian assumed the role.

There are way too many pictures of dudes on this website, so every now and then I need to balance it out with some womens. But these womens are related to us. What kind of website do you think I'm running here? Stacy and Jenny were certainly enjoying the night, as every person male or female should.

Susie was hanging out with her Mom, which might seem weird to the people out there who don't have the family values that the Kurutz/Reck's do. But there is nothing we'd want to do more than hang out with family. Believe it.

Afterglow has a magic power that just brings out the best in us. It doesn't matter if you are there for the first time (like Eddie) or if you have been coming up here for 38 years now (like Uncle Greg). Either way, Afterglow has the ability to make you always feel brand new.

I don't think that I was drunk that night, but what the hell do I know? My former historian is approaching his 21st birthday and he is unreliable, and my current historian went awol and decided to make something of herself at college. So know you just have to trust me.
