San Francisco & Michelle's Wedding - Day 4

From the bridge we could see the city of San Francisco and the island of Alcatraz. From this vantage point, these two things looked quite beautiful. I'm sure that a lot of nefarious acts went down (and currently still do) at these places. Some things never change.

From right under one of the arches I could look right up her.... what? Are we still referring to the bridge as a female? There's no need to make this any weirder than it actually is. And things have already gotten pretty weird. Let's just stop. But thanks to San Francisco traffic, we were stalled on the Golden Gate Bridge and I had the opportunity to take these shots of this structure. And I liked it.

Now that the wedding was over, it was time for us to go our separate ways. Dad and Kathy drove out here from Wisconsin and brought Percy with them, so he was along for the ride from Roseland back to San Francisco. They were going to drive us back into the city where we would check into a hotel for the night before flying back home tomorrow. Percy was cool with it. A little too cool if you ask me...

We got to see this Golden Beauty (and I'm not talking about Sophia, Dorothy, Blanche or Rose) up close for a second time. On Friday night we drove over the bridge en route to our destination, so of course we had to go back from whence we came. She arose from the distance like a sassy Grandmas calling a Bingo win. And of course I was excited to see her. What kind of man would I be if I was not?

From inside of the car I had the freedom to hang outside of the car and take selfies, bubble pics and other assorted options on my phone. I got a little crazy with it. I'll readily admit that. If you were placed in this position, I'm sure that you would have done the same thing. But would you have achieved the same results? No one knows. Nor should they.
